Kate has written out the directions for this elegant and generously sized wool shawl that is intended for the advanced beginner weaver. Included in the pattern purchase is a full-color weaving draft and drawdown, table with "Need-to-Know" numbers, warp thread counts, and clear written directions. You will learn about "color and weave" effects and also learn how to properly wet finish a wool handwoven piece.
Equipment: 2 or 4 shaft loom, 10 dent reed with at least 21" of weaving width, 3 shuttles, tapestry needle, rotary cutter and mat, fringe twister, scissors.
Suggested yarns: Harrisville Designs "Shetland" wool in 3 colors. Color selection recommendations and yardage amounts are included in the pattern draft.
